Thanks for your interest in our Navigator Group Teen Songwriting and Production group
The Navigator group will be focused on activities such as songwriting and developing music production skills. The young people will have the opportunity to learn new skills, to collaborate, and be supported in workshopping and writing their own songs, learning how to produce and edit their song, and then publish them to music sharing/streaming services.
Engaging in group music therapy can offer invaluable benefits for young people. The structured and collaborative environment of a group provides a platform for the young people to express themselves creatively, fostering a sense of achievement and self-worth. Through the shared experience of creating music with peers, they can develop social skills, such as communication and teamwork, while also forming meaningful connections that combat feelings of isolation. Moreover, music serves as a powerful tool for emotional regulation and coping, offering solace and empowerment during challenging times.
